I did not actually fetch the memes myself. The api already exists. You can find it here https://github.com/D3vd/Meme_Api. I just took the api and integrated it into a web extension. The creator used go lang.

In this project I used a reddit api package graw and also I found the methods in this package can't meet my needs . So I wanted to build a robot framework like praw . I can't finish it alone . Yeah to confirm u/krolk's comment, I just tried building and running grabbit (my wallpaper reddit manager), with Go 1.18 and I got the same error message. Grabbit works with 1.17
