Project mention: Little Winter Whooping in Air Mode | reddit.com/r/TinyWhoop | 2021-01-16

On my runcam 5 orange I run 4:3 1440p then do a dynamic stretch/fake SuperView. I used to do it in 'superviou' but I'm looking into doing with ffmpeg directly, or perhaps making my own fork of the original implementation of fake SV that gives more control over encoder settings, not super fond of the current superviou app and it's lack of control.

Project mention: A website to make drum samples, spliced loops, synth patches | reddit.com/r/OPZuser | 2021-08-07

I was really interested in doing breakbeat type stuff with samples on the op-z so I wrote a program that takes a sound and converts to op-z format (<12 s, 44.1khz mono .aif) while also adding in the correct metadata for equally spaced sample start points. the program is open source and I also made it available as a website (teoperator.com).

That's why I decided to create my own library (based on libav aka ffmpeg) capable of decoding video and audio data to some common format so they can be easily played by anything. Video frames are provided as RGBA images and audio samples are provided as byte sequences of the format specified in the README.
