Started a funded big data analytics and machine learning based company straight after graduating UC Berkeley with a degree in Statistics and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship.

I stumbled into an opportunity to start an immediately profitable freight forwarding company which I created from the ground up, scaling it within one month to over 700 monthly subscribed and active users. TAM at the time was limited to only the country of Norway whose total population was only ~5million people in the first place.

Most recently (~8 years ago) co-founded Pangeam ( https://www.pangeam.com ), where we worked with Fortune 100 companies to provide employees with reservable open desk options and reservable conference rooms.

To provide this service we built out a full multi-tenant based system which supported our mobile apps (iOS & Android) and a web app.

We raised funding at a $30m valuation but re-negotiated the valuation down to $15m, bringing in ~$1.8m in capital. We created three sensor based systems to automate things for employees and analyze traffic patterns and utilization throughout corporate offices.

Our first beta sensor was entirely based off of LIDAR based sensors we distributed throughout offices and then performed temporal and geospatial analytics on a ~50 terabyte dataset of LIDAR output and CAD floor-plans.

As people became more comfortable with camera technology, I architected the hardware and embedded AI at the edge software and led a team of around 16 hardware and software (backend, systems, frontend) engineers to create a computer vision RGB-D based fleet of interconnected smart sensors and data processing units to perform the aforementioned features, while working with various C-Suites, VPs, and Directors to create a highly flexible, powerful, simple-to-use and understand set of dynamic dashboards for dynamic visualization of vertical-agnostic KPIs.

These analytical dashboards and outputs saved allowed tens of millions of dollars in savings, particularly from the most financially significant departments such as real estate and human resources.

Outside of work I am an avid motocross rider and aspiring signals intelligence and open source intelligence fanatic.
