The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Free open source Zettelkasten tools
Mine is called zknotes. Web based. If you install elm and rust dev tools you can compile it for yourself and run your own instance. Otherwise, try it on my instance.

Tell us about your ZK
the code is here, if you're curious. the db schema is a little hard to make out since the database created with initdb is modified through 4 migrations to reach the current form.

What's everyone working on this week (3/2021)?
I'm messing around with my pre-alpha zettelkasten website, zknotes. I wrote it with sqlite initially but now I'm porting it over to indra-db, the rust graph database. Not sure if I'll go with indra or not, but graph queries in sqlite are pretty ugly, and slow.

So about the right way to write an interpreter
In the meantime, https://github.com/mkhan45/slang-v2 is pretty simple. I'll answer any questions you might have about it if you PM me. It starts with the scanner and then goes to the parser and is evaluated from there, so the reading order by module would probably be scanner -> parser -> statement -> eval.
The code that does this in Slang is here: https://github.com/mkhan45/slang-v2/blob/master/src/parser/for_parse.rs

A tiny stack based VM in Rust
Some of the design choices here might be a little strange, but I tried to explain them in comments. It runs quite fast (as expected since it only supports one datatype), and I've written a really rudimentary janky compiler for it. I plan on writing a more fleshed out compiler that takes advantage of all of its features whenever I have time.

I'm probably done with this for the forseeable future as of today but I've just made my first scripting language interpreter: https://github.com/mkhan45/slang-v2.
