Applying a tech research cost multiplier to a Seablock run
Using a planner like YAFC, Foreman, Helmod, and Factory Planner is highly recommended. Also, the following mods are recommended for a megabase needed to finish a high-multiplier game:

Fresh meat to the grinder
Planning tools/mods come in many shapes and sizes. I personally like Helmod but it took a while to learn it. There is also Factory Planner. Or external tools like Foreman or YAFC.

You might also appreciate YAFC.

First S.E. run and WOW it’s a bit intimidating - this is how I visualized all the intermediaries/machinery for Utility Science
YAFC (Yet Another Factorio Calculator) is a tool that runs alongside factorio (relies on a working mods folder) and does something similar to Factory Planner, except it actually works while also offering more key combinations and tooltips compared to Factorio. It goes into more detail when you need it. Oh, and its matrix-like solver doesn't suck.
