The 1622nd questions about connecting xbox controller to Linux. Updated firmware, using sysfsutils & xpadneo still failed.
If that doesn't work either, I would try making an issue on their github and asking there: https://github.com/atar-axis/xpadneo/issues
I have `xpadneo` installed. Prerequisites are also completed, next I followed their pairing instructions from their github

Xbox wireless controller adapter on Linux
I own 2 Xbox controllers, and I'm wondering if the wireless adapter works on Linux natively, or if I need to install other drivers, like xpadneo or XoW?

Input Lag With the ALP?
I've been playing with using XOutput + HidHide to cause Windows to see the the ALP controls as an Xbox controller instead of the generic device it normally appears as, and it seemed to significantly improve the input latency in FX. But there are other downsides and quirks that it causes, including problems actually launching the ball in some of the FX tables, so it might also end up being a non-starter.

Playnite as a "system"
I’m using this as a hub for mainly a GameCube emulator and those controllers do not have Xinput so it wont work in Playnite. I used this to map the controller to XInput and then added an extra line in the Launch Playnite.bat file to also open XOutput on startup

I need recommendations on a keyboard mapper!
Does your ipac have a dinput mode? If so, xoutput may work https://github.com/csutorasa/XOutput/issues/210

Could someone please suggest a cheap controller for PC? I've been using this for a while now but it's mapping is horrible and doesn't work in game half the time. I used Joystokey but even then it's not that great. Please help a brother out 🙏
Use XOutput, follow the instructions in this link.

The BEST method to enable xinput for Google Stadia Controller's Bluetooth mode (DirectInput to Xbox 360 controller) + Analog Triggers in Windows 10/11
Downloaded the latest release of XOutput (v3.2 XOutput.zip as of this post), save it somewhere safe and launch it (I usually place it in C:\Users\\Documents\Tools\ControllerTools).
- How do I use my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (Wired) as an input controller?
-
No internet connection Pinball FX early access through Steam launcher.
https://github.com/csutorasa/XOutput or perhaps v4 of xbox 360ce they both use a virtual joypad (driver) ViGEmBus but i prefer (if i can) to use old method xbox 360ce used as you might need to hide your original controller using some hid blocking tool or even hide it for certain games as they could choke on it. I'm sure there's more tools that use those VigemBus drivers or even other virtual joypad drivers.
What are some alternatives?
