How do I take my xubuntu further
Take a look at xtonousou's xfce4-genmon-scripts, also, the example scripts on the Genmon page itself are quite good and if you want to, I have a few of them as well.

[OC] Every country in the world in 1 (Unsplash) photo - I took the most popular photo on Unsplash.com for all 195 countries in the world and collected them in an album. Some are predictable tourism posters (Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera, Pyramids), others are unexpected to down right weird.
It's a data visualisation, but not a classic chart or graph. Each country represented by its most popular photo on Unsplash. The blog post is https://blog.forret.com/2021/02/14/every-country-in-the-world-in-1-unsplash-photo/ and the full album (195 photos) can be found on https://github.com/pforret/splashmark_examples/blob/main/countries/countries.md
