Can the V2 motion sensor connect to the older Bridge? Someone from wyze says so but I haven't been able to.

Anybody notice that the new sensors seem to be available?
I spoke with a Wyze representative this morning, who was gracious enough to offer replacement for the v1 sensors I have had die... but he also confirmed that the new sensors and keypad will only work with the new hub. To me this means that using them in Home Assistant (as I currently do, using wyzesense2mqtt) will be either not possible, or require a lot of updates. I've opened an issue to feel out the developer's feelings on the matter... but we shall see 😉

If you’re that way inclined. Have a look at HomeAssistant https://www.home-assistant.io with this add on https://github.com/WillCodeForCats/solaredge-modbus-multi/wiki. You’ll get complete control on your generation and discharge. Making you able to make some good savings and earnings especially when used in conjunction with the Octopus Flux tariff.
