Arch Linux in WSL??
This is definitely the way to go. I have 4 or 5 Arch based WSL instances using this method. I also cleaned up the how-to and dropped it in github

wsl-distrod - Distrod is a meta-distro for WSL 2 which installs Ubuntu, Arch, Debian, Gentoo, etc. with systemd in a minute for you. Distrod also has built-in auto-start feature on Windows startup and port forwarding ability.
ArchWSL - ArchLinux based WSL Distribution. Supports multiple install.
