wlroots has a color protocol (which probably uses the wlr protocols).

Wayland doesn't support colorpicking tools. It just changes window focus while picking a colour. Any specific colorpickers for wayland ??
Apparently there is wl-color-picker. It could be specific to wlroots so you might just need to try it out

I combine grimshot + swappy to get something similar to Flameshot. Not as good, but it has the advantage of... actually working on Sway.
