Wine-Wayland v7.7.3 released
Vulkan is not currently supported but there is already another project at https://github.com/varmd/wine-wayland/ that focuses solely on Wine Wayland+Vulkan. We hope that as the driver matures and moves to upstream, we will be able to consolidate all further development efforts.

Extreme stuttering IF the game is running at low framerate + performance problem (Wayland)
If the game is running at low fps < 50, extreme stuttering will happen making the game impossible to play. Usually on Xorg people would suggest turning on force composition pipeline but I'm Wayland so that's impossible to do. The problem severity decrease IF the game runs at high FPS (> ~70). This problem happened on ALL GAMES tested Note: Had anyone tested wine-wayland ? Since Nvidia has already supported native Wayland I think that game should run better on native Wayland too ? Also, Vsync is on by default on Wayland so the game should not run like ass right ?

Wine Wayland has a New Release v6.19.2, with updated libraries and optional VKD3D-Proton download

I also have hope for future support of direct Wayland rendering in wine. Those Arch based may even be able to use this for now: https://github.com/varmd/wine-wayland

Agree. Also, if you use Chaotic-AUR repos, you can install a better WINE version; Wine-tkg-staging-fsync-git, latest wine version, includes some of the Lutris wine version changes, run steam support stuff, etc.

has anyone gotten resident evil 8 to run?
i'm fairly new to linux and i'm trying to get resident evil 8 to run and I just get a black screen on launch. i installed this by the recommendation of some people, but i'm not too sure on how i use it. i open steam and look at the list of compatibility software and tkg doesn't show up.
