will_paginate VS Kaminari

Add paginate for images using will_paginate gem. Add this to the Gemfile.

We need to install the will-paginate gem, so add gem 'will_paginate' to your gemfile and run bundle install.

In my app, I have a couple of places I want to be able to implement pagination. First, I will head to the controller(s) and make the necessary code changes there. We get this line of code from the documentation - Post.paginate(page: params[:page], per_page: 30). In the controller the code currently looks like this:

With around 50 new gems released daily, it is common to use trending libraries for managing everyday tasks. You probably use Devise for authentication, Cancan for authorization, Kaminari for pagination, or run tests with Rspec.

I used kaminari for paginating.

Note that this example uses methods from Kaminari, but you can adapt it to any other pagination method.

There are many Ruby Gems like Kaminari for pagination that works with Postgresql/ActiveRecord but not DynamoDB
