One of two NVMEs not booting after CPU and BIOS update
1 project | reddit.com/r/linuxhardware | 25 Nov 2021
It's very simple with a little reading up. Here's a guide I put together earlier: https://github.com/spxak1/weywot/blob/main/guides/fix_bios_boot_entry.md

If you have it set up correctly pressing w during boot should boot windows. If that does not work, space bar should bring up the boot options. If windows isn't visible, here's a good guide

Dual boot trouble(shoot)
1 project | reddit.com/r/pop_os | 10 Nov 2021
Then, I read recently that for Pop, it comes with systemd-boot but I have no idea how to get it working, I tried following this guide: https://github.com/spxak1/weywot/blob/main/Pop_OS_Dual_Boot.md but I don't really know what I'm doing, so I only got to mounting the Windows boot partition and terminal gave me an error (mount: dev/nvme0n1p1: can't find in /etc/fstab.) so I don't know how to continue.

Everything is gone... after installing supergrub

I have cryptsetup enabled. Can I still use GRUB to dual boot with Windows?
1 project | reddit.com/r/pop_os | 3 Nov 2021
You don't need grub, sytemd-boot is quite sufficient for dual booting. You can follow these instructions: https://github.com/spxak1/weywot/blob/main/Pop_OS_Dual_Boot.md
How to convert root directory into a subvolume in btrfs?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/Gentoo | 3 Nov 2021
When I installed gentoo I only used btrfs because of it's compression. Now I've learned of subvolumes and snapshots. A common choice (I think) is to have your root directory be a subvolume, and your home directory be another subvolume, and have nothing written on the top level volume. Basically I want the sort of setup expalined here (except the swap file, of course). But I've already installed all of my stuff on the top level volume it seems. Is is possible to 'convert' my system to a scheme like the one shown in the guide?
Help! Am having issues with Pop OS and dual boot.
3 projects | reddit.com/r/pop_os | 2 Nov 2021
I have been in a similar situation. I'd advise against installing grub for the boot menu since Pop Os uses systemd. I followed this tutorial to dual boot and it worked perfectly: https://github.com/spxak1/weywot/blob/main/Pop_OS_Dual_Boot.md
Tablet support on Wayland

Does anyone know if the HS64 would work well in Linux (Ubuntu)?
6 projects | reddit.com/r/huion | 1 Jul 2021
Fix for the tablet is here thanks to Sutabi and juansegaes .6 projects | reddit.com/r/huion | 1 Jul 2021
Using the drivers https://github.com/DIGImend/digimend-kernel-drivers/releases/tag/v10 on Linux mint 20.1, HS64 works with full pen control, but you cannot set buttons and tablet active area. If you use any other distro then you need updated libwacom and create HS64.tablet file, I guess, to make GUI configurator work, "there is no .tablet file for hs64" you can try fedora pen support, might work, maybe. Use Linux mint with above drivers, you will GUI configurator support in settings for pen at least or rely on xsetwacom cli on other distro's
Has someone gotten a non-wacom tablet to work on Manjaro?
1 project | reddit.com/r/ManjaroLinux | 3 May 2021
I also found this, digimend-kernel-drivers. You'll want to follow the dkms instructions, and it will need a restart. Be sure to uninstall the other package as well.

nevertheless it is honest work
1 project | reddit.com/r/linuxmemes | 15 Mar 2021
A lot of drawing tablets other than Wacom (like Huion or XP-Pen) on the market nowadays at least need a patched kernel drivers for them to work on Linux. DIGImend helped to make a lot of them work, but there are still a lot of models and brands that aren't supported.
Does anyone use a tablet/digital pen for doing math? Any recommendations?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/math | 6 Feb 2021
The only thing that seems broken is pen tilt sensing, which xournalpp does not support anyway, but this might be already fixed in the current version of the digimend drivers (they periodically get merged to upstream kernel).
