Lapce
Since v1.0+ of this extension I have been constantly having issues with neovim's and VSCode's buffers got out of sync. I cannot reliably reproduce the issues however. There are a few similar reports, e.g. https://github.com/vscode-neovim/vscode-neovim/issues/1624. I've switched to other VIM extension (VSCodeVim) which I found more reliable, albeit less powerful.
Use https://github.com/vscode-neovim/vscode-neovim instead.

LazyVim
You can have it both ways! Use neovim to handle key presses in VSCode, keep all the benefits of a text editor that (mostly) Just Works.

VSCode with Neovim?
This post is all over the place. What are you asking? What problem exactly did you have with the https://github.com/vscode-neovim/vscode-neovim (ensure that you did not install https://github.com/VSCodeVim/Vim , which people often confuse with the other).

Neovim 0.9 Released
Why not have both? https://github.com/vscode-neovim/vscode-neovim
I was using the VSCodeVim plugin, but it kept breaking. I now moved to the Neovim plugin and works great!

Easymotion with VSCode-Neovim
I recently installed the vscode-neovim extension in order to use Vim inside VSCode. I also enabled the experimental vim-easymotion plugin specified by the docs to help with navigation, but unfortunately, I am having trouble getting it to work.

Showing VS Code to a Vim user be like
Imagine feeling like you have to make a choice between the two. I didn’t have to.
-
Neovim is not that difficult
Just FYI, Using vscode-neovim you get a fully embedded instance of Neovim in Vscode, which is a much better experience compared to Vim emulation.

We Have to Start Over: From Atom to Zed
It was onivim2. Iirc it was a one-man show, and stopped when funding dried up. I also hoped to see a a lot from it. Maybe the dev took too much work on his plate, with an unproven language with limited libraries?

How VSCode made bracket pair colorization 10,000x faster
It's unfortunate that oni2 stopped development.
It had the promise of all the benefits of VS Code, but performance of a native app.

HypeScript: Simplified TypeScript's type system in TypeScript's own type system
I never tried CoffeeScript since nobody pays me for it, though I am curious about ReasonML as an alternative, there's a Neovim front-end[0] coded in Reason that compiles natively[1], and supports existing VS Code plugins from the VSCodium plugin repository[2] which I still have yet to look at how the heck they pulled that bit off, but it is pretty interesting.

SpaceVim Release v2.0.0
It’s too bad that Onivim2 development stopped.
It had the potential of being all the great things of both SpaceVim + VS Code combined into a native app.
You are not alone.
If there were a GUI editor that had 1st-class Vim keybindings, native LSP support, fuzzy finding, and convenient file management tools a la Ranger, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
OniVim2[0] looked really promising, but the project has unfortunately stalled after the creator had to step back for personal reasons.
