Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Since I'm a big fan of toolchains as code, I've fallen in love with volta for managing my Node.js and Yarn versions. Don't forget commands like volta pin in Node.js projects to lock in versions to your package.json file!
What's New in Node.js 17
3 projects | dev.to | 17 Nov 2021
You can download Node.js 17 to your computer using the appropriate link for your operating system and architecture provided on the Node.js download page. A better way to manage Node.js releases on your machine is to use a Node.js environment management tool like Volta, which allows you to install and switch between multiple Node.js versions seamlessly.

For folks who use nvm and find it slow, try out Volta. It’s much faster, and IMO a lot nicer to use in general.

snm v0.7.0: A completely revamped node version manager
Like Volta, snm is cross-platform. NVM is not cross-platform. This is an issue for many devs and many teams.
Trying to install VSC without nodejs

I had a similar problem to yours. I solved it by letting packages install what ever nodejs they want and have at it. For my personal Node.js version, I use https://volta.sh to manage multiple versions that can be used by my user. Works lime a charm. I tried to use n but I had conflicts with the eopkg version.

https://github.com/mozilla/uniffi-rs - a multi-language bindings generator for rust
Then again it seems it's targeting bindings to managed languages where people are used to "no UB on cross-thread sharing", possibly even at the cost of overhead. I don't like that culture (and prefer Rust's zero-overhead verification or C++'s "trust the programmer"), but I guess I'm not the target audience and there are some people who would appreciate it. And sadly programmers who haven't learned Rust or otherwise "properly" learned threading seem to get it wrong.

Could someone point me to resources for this? I've looked and I found Mozilla's uniffi-rs which doesn't seem to support much right now. But I could use some more resources / reading material if someone has them.
Is there any reason to not generate bindings of Serde?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/rust | 10 Jun 2021
Sorry about my ignorance (and my English). I would like to know if there is any technical reason to not generate (with PyO3 or Uniffi-rs) some bindings to use all the Serde crates in other languages. I think in case it's possible it could provide developers robust and performant alternatives to current parsers
