What's the best way to go about installing the *beta* drivers for Nvidia?
Hey all, I'll keep it short and sweet. I've got an RTX 3060 TI and I'm currently running Driver 530. There's a gamebreaking interaction with 530, VKD3D, and the kernel that prevents Resident Evil: Village from running for more than five minutes. 535 seems to completely solve this issue as referenced in this post Specifically, I'm currently on 530 DKMS. What's the preferred, safe way to acquire a kernel compatible, preferably pacman friendly version of the 535 driver? Thanks in advance

3) In lutris add a new locally installed game, I use wine-ge-proton 8.2 as the runner along with DXVK 2.0, and VK3D 2.8 enabled (I'd probply reccomend using the latest version of all of these however)

EA games that weren't purchased through Steam?
EA App, EA's new launcher, isn't great but it does run for me. Steam, Lutris, Bottles, and Heroic all use variants of Wine - a windows compatibility layer - with projects such as dxvk and vkd3d-proton to run windows games and programs. Steam will use native ports by default if they are available, but you can override that in the game's properties if you want to.

Meta releases open source Intermediate Graphics Library which runs on top of Vulkan, Open GL, or Metal on multiple operating systems
Vulkan is an alternative to DX which isn't MS-proprietary. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Vulkan implementation for windows which uses DX under the hood, just as dxvk is a DX implementation that uses Vulkan under the hood.
