As youki README mentions, railcar by Oracle was earlier but it got abandoned.

Somebody at Oracle was at one point writing an implementation of the oci-runtime in rust https://github.com/oracle/railcar/, an active successor of that project appears to be https://github.com/containers/youki

Experimental implementation of container runtime in Rust
Railcar, created by Oracle, has already stopped development. I think it was more of a quit in progress than a completion.
