History of Lisp Parentheses (2019)
?., which reverses q and r.
Hoon code is rather interesting to look at, especially the rune vs keyword syntax (random file: https://github.com/urbit/urbit/blob/master/pkg/arvo/lib/aqua...) but I don't think it's worth the effort.

Jack Dorsey texts Elon Musk (March 26, 2022)
I'm amuse to find that https://urbit.org/ is a lot more legit-looking than it used to be. Good for them.
Is it still based on 'Hoon' and 'Nock' though? Because inventing your own nonsense programming language is antithetical to a serious attempt at building something.

Kindelia: A minimal peer-to-peer computer that isn't a cryptocurrency
Reading the white paper, and looking at their other projects (HVM), I have the feeling they successfully implemented what Urbit [0] tried to do, but in an elegant and efficient way, instead of going the convoluted and obfuscated route ...
Also the last chapters of their white book are interesting reads for anyone interested in blockchain and cryptocurrencies

Release: New features for Nalli
I think a wallet-agnostic memo solution is definitely the way. Having wallets that end up (partly) incompatible is only gonna hurt the UX. Maybe a decentralised DB solution like OrbitDB or GunDB can be the best way forward, although I haven't dove deeply into the docs yet.

Any suggestions to build a decentralized web app?
I want to build a decentralized social media web app for a personal project, and I'm thinking on using IPFS. What tool, API, or library can get me set up without writing smart contracts or using blockchain solutions? I've heard that GunDB or OrbitDB are useful libraries- is that true? What are your thoughts and suggestions?

database for decentralized web
development of orbitdb definitely looks like it's slowed down. i'd give thread db a look as it's currently under active development.

IPDB and IPFS Whats's the difference ?
Not sure what the deal with this thing is but OrbitDB is an open-source P2P distributed database hosted on IPFS. Don't know what distinguishes IPDB from this except that it's an an entirely separate blockchain not powered by Filecoin.
OrbitDB is in active development, that means that the product is not stable for a real word product. Just for test purpose..
What are some alternatives?
ipfs - Peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol
web3.storage - ⁂ The simple file storage service for IPFS & Filecoin
gun - An open source cybersecurity protocol for syncing decentralized graph data.
