udemy-dl VS udemy-downloader

Found something ir the AUR, but the last update was on 25/05/2021, and it point to this github link.

I tried this once a day, but always got 403 forbidden error. The udemy-dl repo has been archived, and the author won't support it any more. Can anyone here kindly help? Thank you!

If the course doesn't use DRM then https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl otherwise https://github.com/Puyodead1/udemy-downloader and https://github.com/Satsuoni/widevine-l3-guesser with downgraded CDM to 2209 (might stop working on Udemy in the future though, but it still works for now)

Thanks for the response. I was looking at using Udemy-dl https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl and downloading the courses using the access token in the cookies.txt file instead of logging in using my account details. Would this be safer? I might try using IDM and see if anything happens if I download 1 course

Ever since Udemy encrypted their videos, most downloader have died. Most Notably Udeler https://github.com/FaisalUmair/udemy-downloader-gui and Udemy-dl https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl

If the course has DRM then you will need to get the decryption keys, and for downloading you can use udemy-downloader https://github.com/Puyodead1/udemy-downloader (disclaimer: I made it). Udemy-dl should work for courses that don’t have DRM also
