#16. YouTube pausing the vid when you switch out happens everywhere when you're not paying for Premium, but you could sideload uYou+ maybe?

I know it isn't a competition, but I wanted to not only know the direct differences but if I should leave uyou+ in the first place as it was my first sideloaded app, and I've been using it almost since release.

- add an extension to match the new URL-scheme or specify a custom one to match the one above a solution like this or this from CokePokes could help, he also released an app on the AppStore - we could ask to add the option to support custom URL-scheme like EvilScheme does) - it would be the best way to be redirected in the Apollo custom app.

It’s a known issue, and as stated their, it will be fixed in the next release, for now to fix it, you can go to A/B settings and disable "disableAfmaldfaCollection” (search "afm" to find it more easily) and restart the app.

The SponsorBlock [0] addon has already solved that for sponsored/ad segments in videos. Rather than AI, crowdsourced timestamps lets it automatically skip past adverts.

This is different from YouTube platform ad-blocking, instead it is crowd-sourced auto-skip of in-video sponsorship messages etc. Quite configurable, really appreciating it so far.

this is why you also install sponsorblock (https://sponsor.ajay.app/). Only whitelist the channels you want to "support", if you really want to make sure to eyeball the sponsorship (which doesn't really help unless it happens to be a product you actually are interested in buying).
