Fixing anti-adblock may cause ads or breakages. If you see any issue, please report back the EXACT URL and your country when accessing the URL so volunteers are able to investigate by commenting here or in this thread on github.

YouTube's Adblock detection might break the law in the EU
Looking at the filters that uBlock is using, it still seems to be some sort of regex on the xhr request/response body [1]. Why can't youtube trivially defeat this by encrypting everything?

Tell HN: YouTube disabling playback after 3 videos
YouTube is stepping up the anti-adblock nonsense and will be disabling playback after 3 videos
Personally, this sort of arms race is only going to cause me to not use YouTube

Tell HN: "Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube”
> ... and if a site directly tells me it doesn't like my ad blocker, I leave. I haven't gone to the ad-blocker-blocker level.
You may not be aware that many such messages are themselves blocked by the default lists in ublock origin. Examples:

Show HN: uBlock Origin filters to remove distractions
If you use uBlock Origin, did you try to submit these filters to the uBlock Annoyances[1] or EasyList Annoyances lists before starting up this project?
That would help far more people that starting up yet another Annoyances list.

uBlockOrigin/uAssets vs EasyList for reporting new ads
If I have noticed a new ad, to which list should I report a filter issue? Should I report the new advertisement to the issue tracker at uBlockOrigin/uAssets, or should it be reported to EasyList instead?

cosmetic filters block twitter posts from loading
I'm not sure if it's related to this issue, but there was an update to twitter some hours ago: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/commit/9eb3926d2eac7bba31dfd2ebf4c153b3adfcdfd5

How to save passwords in browser
There is a Qutebrowser user script for 1password: https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/blob/master/misc/userscripts/qute-1pass. Disclaimer: I am the original author (it’s been refactored a lot by mkonig since I originally wrote it). My original version is here https://github.com/tomoakley/dotfiles/blob/master/qutebrowser/userscripts/1password

Help using qutebrowser on a mac
Glad to hear! You'd either add it to the userscripts folder in the repo, or add a link to the README about it and host it elsewhere.
Proprietary codec support with alternative macOS/Linux PyQt packages has some patches to get qutebrowser to work with a Homebrew Qt install, which comes with proprietary codecs.

Qutebrowser seems to be deteriorating a bit
I did a first test run when the Beta was out, on March 17th.
Your first issue is due to webengine 6.5. See https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/issues/7662 . It's pretty annoying indeed, and unfortunately, issues relating to new Qt versions have been taking a while (or have always done so). One workaround is downgrading to webengine 6.4. The other is duplicating your current tab, as described over at GitHub.
