twitter-stream.py VS Tweepy

Bought it for my open source project's documentation. Twitivity.dev. I'm selling the domain only. It's a well-known open-source project. Featured on Twitter Docs. So has decent traffic. Registered November 2020. On Namecheap.com. Reason for selling? Funding the opening source project.

You might be right about me overthinking this. Twitter recently listed one of my libraries as a useful third-party tool to access their latest APIs - Twitter-Stream.py. Now I'm a bit paranoid. And I'm in a crippling fear that the implementation might not be following best practices. That's why I'm trying to refactor the codebase. Like making the components more concise and decoupled.

How is this much different than what tweepy does?

There are plenty of open source modules you can use, such as tweepy, which will make it a lot easier for you.

In order to use the Twitter API v2, you need to apply for a Twitter developer account. Once you have an approved Twitter developer account, follow the instruction here to obtain your BEARER TOKEN that you will use to connect to the Twitter API v2 in you code in Python. We will be using the Tweepy package in Python to get images from the Twitter API v2, so you will need to have Python as well as the Tweepy package installed on your machine.
