10 Node.js Frameworks Every Developer Should Know
Total.js was created by Peter Sirka, a programmer from Slovakia, in 2013. The main idea of the developer was to create a kernel that would have a large basic functionality, while not having to install a large number of additional dependencies, unlike Express.js, which has a small amount of basic functionality, and you need to expand it at the expense of external modules. Total.js can also be extended with different modules from npm. Art architecture Total.js something reminds me of Rails for Ruby or the Laravel framework for PHP.

We are the SpaceX software team, ask us anything!
Hello SpaceX software team! I'm the author of the open-source JavaScript platform called Total.js Platform, and it would be a pity if our open-source server-side framework or client-side library (with more than 250 UI components) weren't part of the space program. Please look into it: www.totaljs.com ...

Ask HN: Is Express still "de-facto" for building Node back ends?
I tend to use hapi (https://hapi.dev) instead of Express if I need to write a quick backend for something these days.
Fastify looks nice too but I haven't used it.
Been burnt by full-stack frameworks in the past (e.g. Meteor) but they can be a good option for some.

Why it's always bus factor = 1 in the node.js ecosystem?
does not seem so https://github.com/hapijs/hapi/releases/tag/v21.0.0 (ok, I'm nitpicking on that one)

Validate SvelteKit endpoints with Joi
Joi validator used to be part of hapi but then became a standalone library that you can use everywhere where validation is needed. So for example, here's how username validation can be done:
