TinyDB VS PyInstaller

Here, we save app settings with Python tinydb and you can also use another simple database options. It is included because Python is used here.

If you are interested in database, I would also recommand have fun with tinydb https://github.com/msiemens/tinydb and reading it's source code, even alter it and mess around (just keep Git in mind in your adventure).

BetterJSONStorage is a faster 'Storage Type' for TinyDB. It uses treading, the faster Orjson library for parsing the JSON and BLOSC2 for compression.

I was looking for a streamlined-really simple db solution for my application and tinydb got my attention.

Things like https://sleekdb.github.io/ and https://github.com/msiemens/tinydb come to mind in terms of document storage, for instance.

It has got its inspirations from tinyDB ( for its simplicity ) and Firestore( NOSQL database offered by firebase for its document style datamodelling ).

You are right. I think I've misremembered the module name - it was uwsgi, not uvicorn.

PyInstaller seemed like the most maintained and developed tool to freeze python script into an executable, so I went with it. As expected, the freezed interface with the model was gigabytes large, so I had to figure out how to squeeze this. Fortunately, Onnx worked wonders and packaged the model into an inference only state, so I could throw away the Pytorch and Torchtext dependencies when freezing with Pyinstaller.Now the size of the executable with the model was 43MB instead of 4GB.
