Can't progress with EteSync setup in Ubuntu 22.04
I am trying to follow the instructions on Etesync Github but when I get to the 3rd option in terminal under Download & Run, nothing happens in terminal. It just sits there without going back to a prompt. If I try to close Konsole, it says that process is running but after 10 min, still nothing. I can use the link they provide next to login in my browser but cannot proceed with moving binary file as Konsole says: No such directory. Included screenshots. Any help in getting this set up greatly appreciated.
That is where I got the package from: linux-amd64-etesync-dav on Github

Are there any encrypted ToDo apps?
etebase is an end-to-end encrypted synchronization backend that supports, among other things, tasks. I use etesync for android in conjunction with opentasks on android and etesync-dav as a caldav gateway (synchronized to thunderbird with tbsync and its caldav backend) on the desktop. The backed is rather easy to run as a container image.

when is protondrive releasing to the public?
I'm using the etesync-dav bridge (running it in a podman managed container), just because I wanted to get to know podman better too. But etesync-dav is essentially just a Python Django based app which builds in the Radicale CalDAV/CardDAV server implementation.
To use the etesync-dav bridge downloads available here: https://github.com/etesync/etesync-dav/releases
What are some alternatives?
Radicale - A simple CalDAV (calendar) and CardDAV (contact) server.
egroupware - Web based groupware server written in PHP, forum at https://help.egroupware.org/
SOGo - SOGo is a very fast and scalable modern collaboration suite (groupware). It offers calendaring, address book management, and a full-featured Webmail client along with resource sharing and permission handling. It also makes use of documented standards (IMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV, etc.) and thereby provides native connectivity (without plugins) to many clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, the iPhone, Mozilla Lightning, and a plethora of mobile devices.
Mayan EDMS - Free Open Source Document Management System (mirror, no pull request or issues)
