How to copy a file between devices?
There is also Send.Vis.ee, which is a community fork of Firefox Send. It has always worked very well for me personally. There are many public instances available with varying sizes and expiring conditions.

Ask HN: What is the best FOSS file sharing protocol/app?
Probably not what you are asking for, but if you would like to host on your own server, there is https://github.com/timvisee/send which is a fork of Firefox's Send.
You get a web interface where you can drag and drop files. It uploads the files to your own server and you will get a link to share them.

Zippyshare is shutting down
Not much of a point to that. File upload forms are pretty trivial for one, and there already are plenty of good open-source solutions for that (e.g. send or pomf). Your main challenge is going to be finding the disk space/bandwidth for that sort of thing, but anyone with enough resources can already run a zippyshare "clone" with zero issues.

Looking for easy-peasy web server for the occasional sharing of large files
If it's just one time file sharing, try Send. Formerly Firefox Send, you can now self host it.

Alternative to pwndrop?
I came across https://github.com/kgretzky/pwndrop a few weeks ago and really like it. It's really nice for doing (100% legal, don't @me) pentesting. I really like the hidden menu feature + the facade files. I went to the GitHub to take a look at the source code and noticed that it hasn't received a commit since 2020. Assuming that this project is no longer maintained, are there any other alternatives with red teaming in mind?

Password protected static file download page?
I like using Pwndrop for this functionality. Makes it easy to upload and share files through the web interface. Also itโs designed to be exposed to the internet with some security and stealth features.

Self-hosted File Sharing/File Hosting Solution?
I've been looking for a self-hosted file sharing/file hosting solution for a while now. Recently I came across PWNDrop, which has all the features I need, no more, no less. However, with PWNDrop I have reached an upload limit of 41 MB and since there is (to my knowledge) no way to increase this upload limit, I am looking for an alternative that offers a higher upload limit, since I occasionally want/need to upload files with 10 GB+. Maybe here is someone here who has a good alternative for me.
