Let's debug a kubernetes pod locally
seems to be very similar to https://www.telepresence.io

Is it ok not to be able to run application locally?
If they're web services you work on, you might try https://www.telepresence.io/ (Requires something to be installed in the cluster though, easily done).

Best Neovim PHP IDE option?
Depending on the context, the type of code you do, you may want to also look into the sister protocol to LSP, DAP—debug adaptor protocol. It really depends on your context whether local dev, dev against a remote server, and if the latter whether you run under GCP and thus have the “Snapshot Debugger”, or under Kubernetes with something like Ambassadar/Emissary and thus can run Telepresence, whether you do local or remote Docker and thus most IDEs don't necessarily magically work especially if the containers are competently locked down, etc.

LXD containers on macOS at near-native speeds
If you're on Kubernetes remotely, Telepresence [0] might be worth a look.

mirrord 3.0 is out - run/debug your code in the context of your k8s cluster
This seems to be very similar to Telepresence, which I just couldn't get to work for us.

Connecting a local container with a Kubernetes cluster
I think you might be looking for a tool called Telepresence, which can insert a local process into the kubernetes internal network.

Connect services across Kubernetes clusters using Teleproxy
The tool is based on telepresence. It is used at Flare Systems to keep our development setup light and still be able to quickly connect our test apps to a more realistic “staging” environment.

Tortoise: Shell-Shockingly-Good Kubernetes Autoscaling
Microsoft does a good job with KEDA, providing an open source autoscaling architecture that isn't tied to Azure.

Most just utilize out of the box macro resources available in HPA.
For more advanced use cases there is keda - https://keda.sh/

Root Cause Chronicles: Quivering Queue
Thankfully KEDA operator was already part of the cluster, and all Robin had to do was create a ScaledObject manifest targeting the Dispatch ScaleUp event, based on the rabbitmq_global_messages_received_total metric from Prometheus.

Best Kubernetes DevOps Tools: A Comprehensive Guide
KEDA introduces event-driven scaling to Kubernetes workloads. It integrates with Kubernetes Horizontal Pod Autoscalers and can scale pods based on external metrics from services like databases and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB).

Auto-scaling DynamoDB Streams applications on Kubernetes
This is where KEDA comes in.

What is the difference in production for scale to zero usecases - Keda vs Lambda ?
This is traditionally a AWS Lambda usecase - or an OpenFaas kind of usecase. But very recently i discovered https://keda.sh/ and it seems it is specifically meant for this in a kubernetes environment.

Ingesting Data into OpenSearch using Apache Kafka and Go
If you deploy the application to Amazon EKS, you can also consider using KEDA to auto-scale your consumer application based on the number of messages in the MSK topic.

Is there a product that can orchestrate running jobs?
Maybe this https://keda.sh/
