Best Web-based Anime List App for Desktop?
Taiga is really convenient, it's a desktop app that uses and syncs your MAL/AL/Kitsu list. It recognises when you're watching an episode (either through an official streaming site, or downloaded) and updates your list (can also be done manually in one click), it can also set your discord status as "watching XXX", which I find interesting. The interface is basic but fast, it's easy to browse your anime by score, release date, watched date, genres, etc.

Who else is in their 30's and still watches anime?
I suggest https://taiga.moe/
- ¿Vale la pena crunchyroll en 2023?
- Anime app checking everyone?

Offline Anime tracking ?
The closest that comes to mind is Taiga, but I've not used it so I can't speak to how well it works offline.

Crunchyroll is complete ass for being a paid service.
I used to pay for anime services, but they're all just so bad in their own ways like trash sites or censorship that I canceled and started yarring. If you're not afraid to set sail and use a VPN (which I always recommend), you can use something like taiga.moe which not only lets you connect to a tracker like anilist, but also lets you search torrents for individual episodes and complete seasons.

How do you keep track of what you watch? Do you know what you watch monthly?
I just use a program called Taiga that automatically syncs with my AniList account when I watch stuff on my computer, it adds started and finished date, etc. And AniList has a pretty rich stats page if that's your thing.
-
Hello, is there a movie-TV show manager app like Taiga?
Basically Taiga is a open source app to keep track anime shows you have watched and update your list in an online DB like Myanimelist/Anilist, etc.
-
who here uses anilist/mal and who spreadsheets?
I use Anilist with Taiga for automated list updates and automail for some extra features/data on the website.
-
Recommend me a good anime tracker or animelist site: anilist vs kitsu vs myanimelist or other???
Regardless of what you choose, https://taiga.moe/ is a must because it allows you to automatically update your list without ever going to the sites themselves. Watch episode -> close window -> list auto-updates

Crunchyroll Reducing Monthly Prices in Nearly 100 Countries & Territories
The site I use has not popup ads, scams or viruses. Furthermore, the quality of the downloads is way better than cruncyroll. I can also track my process by using programs like [Trackma](https://github.com/z411/trackma) which automatically detect a video being played and syncs it to my AniList account.

Are there any Privacy friendy and possibly FOSS anime and manga tracking websites?
You might want to check if Taiga or Trackma have offline options

[GUIDE] Automating anime downloading and syncing with anilist on Linux using Flexget and Trackma
This guide will be for automating downloading of torrents of currently releasing anime from an rss feed and auto organizing them into folders based on the anime name, and then syncing to anilist using trackma. The instructions will be valid for arch-based distros. You should have an AUR-helper like yay installed. Also make sure to enable web-ui in transmission/qbittorrent.

There should be an app to track manga on PC
I am a manga reader. I read manga on my phone using Tachiyomi app. The app tracks manga and syncs automatically with my anilist account. I want a manga reader app for windows that does the same job. I have found this app called Trackma but idk how to install this app. So can someone tell me how to install this app? or you can tell me similar apps like Tachiyomi, but for windows. Thanks in advance :)
