    If you want to try it all yourself, https://github.com/zbateson/mail-mime-parser is good for parsing -- but that just gets you to the point of $message->getTextContent(); and the rest is still on you, or something that tries like https://github.com/willdurand/EmailReplyParser or the commercial offerings.

    That said, https://github.com/willdurand/EmailReplyParser seems to do a decent job, but I suspect it only supports plain text email, and not HTML email like the vast majority of users send.
