Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

To be more explicit, tmux is not a replacement for a terminal emulator, but rather an application that is run inside one: you can open Terminal/Kitty/whatever you prefer, then run "tmux new" .
After finally setting up a web dev environment on my iPad, I just need a reason to justify it. 🤣

Learn your terminal application too. A more advanced rabbithole is tmux, but simple panes/tabs in a terminal that supports them is perfectly fine for your development machine.
