Stadia Controller for Steam Games
Im quite sure ds4 wont work but yes there are other Tools to translate stadia Controller into a xbox controller. https://github.com/71/stadiacontroller
- bluetooth update - do it!
-
Bluetooth or bluet-oof
Maybe this tool still works? I haven't tried it. Steam has a built-in tool that does this for games launched from Steam but I don't know if you can add Xbox Game Pass games to the Steam launcher.
-
Stadia BT Controller on Steam Deck
Currently my Windows PC can connect to the controller, and with the help of stadiacontroller and ViGEmBus it works great with Steam games.
-
Some game still won't detect the controller even in Bluetooth Mode
for those interested 1. download & install ViGEm 2. download, unzip and run StadiaController Has to be running everytime you want to use the controller. this will emulate everything perfectly
-
Stadia controller connected via BT, but does not do a thing (Windows 11 Pro)
The controller doesn't work natively, you have to emulate it as an Xbox controller, ya can do this in the steam settings or alternatively use this software https://github.com/71/stadiacontroller a command prompt will pop up, leave it open and ya controller will work on all games.
-
Help document device/platform support
Using this software to emulate it as an XboX controller: https://github.com/71/stadiacontroller. Works fine with USB and BT. Officially not maintained anymore, but don't see any reason why it shouldn't keep working.

Gamers say goodbye to Google's Stadia - BBC News

Do these not work? (I haven’t tried them - non-rhetorical question.)

My first idea that I want to write in Go
Could try looking at wails. I don’t really ever do any GUI programming, especially in Go. But it and Fyne are probably gonna be your best, easiest route. Though, I do know there are also bindings for Qt
-
Qt Bindings for go not found
Well, of course it does exist, you cannot use github URL like that, this one works https://github.com/therecipe/qt/tree/master/widgets.

Want to create a non-bloated linux app
I know of https://github.com/therecipe/qt, but I've no experience using it, so not sure how well it works. But normally if you feel handy with Go, I guess it should be easier than switching your development stack to C++.

How do I get started with the Go Qt binding?
there is also 3rd party examples list on their github pages https://github.com/therecipe/qt/wiki/Getting-Started#3rd-party-examplesdemosapplications
