Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Show HN: I made an app to use local AI as daily driver
* LLaVA model: I'll add more documentation. You are right Llava could not generate images. For image generation I don't have immediate plans, but checkout these projects for local image generation.

AMD Funded a Drop-In CUDA Implementation Built on ROCm: It's Open-Source
I would love to be able to have a native stable diffusion experience, my rx 580 takes 30s to generate a single image. But it does work after following https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/wiki...
I got this up and running on my windows machine in short order and I don't even know what stable diffusion is.
But again, it would be nice to have first class support to locally participate in the fun.

Ask HN: What is the state of the art in AI photo enhancement?
In Auto1111, that just uses Image.blend. :)

Seeking out an experienced and empathetic coding buddy.
That said, please do learn coding and don't get discouraged when somebody says to learn PyTorch or recommends using a Jupiter notebook with no further information on how to translate the skill into images. I would highly recommend some short term goals. Get your feet wet by taking apart the UIs. The comfy API documentation is here and the A1111 API documentation is here. There is a difference in completeness, welcome to programming. Writing nodes or plugins is also a good way to jump into this world. Custom wildcard logic might be very attractive to you if you aren't the type that want to deal with a nested file structure to simulate logic.

Need to write an application to use Stable Diffusion on my desktop PC - which resource should I learn to use?
GitHub resources I used are here and here. Thanks in advance!

[serious] we as a community need to do something about this.
if only there was something better then bing with no filter...

Is SDXL supposed to be this slow on my system?
The Automatic setting in cross attention defaults to doggettx if it's the first option and you run out of VRAM. Select either Xformers or SDP-no-mem and restart A1111. Also, you'll need to use the medvram SDXL switch as specified here https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/wiki/Optimum-SDXL-Usage --medvram-sdxl --xformers

Which one is the "official" version
Here's a quick rundown on a few of the most popular ones with links. I started out using CMDR2, which is very easy to get running as a newbie. Then I kind of graduated to NMKD because I wanted something a little more mainstream but still easy to use. Then, I finally decided I was hungry for all the strange and exotic bells and whistles that SD had to offer me, and so I installed Automatic1111. I also wanted something that would work well with my 4GB GTX 1650 laptop card, because that's considered "low ram" and kind of on the edge for running SD- Automatic1111 fit the bill there, too.

Landscapes, both scifi and fantasy, are incredible in this model. Made a few new wallpapers using a combination of img2imghd + RealESRGan with some great results. Things really took off once I learned how to use the --generated option to upscale other finds! Original pics at 150 steps, 768x512

Working on completely offline GUI - based on Qt6, with batch-mode, completely configurable, all sorts of parameters. Still being worked on, looking for feedback
Hi. Looking good, but you definitely need to add grids. Like setting a batch size (number of imgs to generate simoultaneously, "columns") and a batch count ("rows") to get a NxM grid as output. And, of course, ability to bulk schedule those grids, like 10 grids with 5(simoul imgs)x5(rows) -> start. And you might as well want to implement some features from AUTOMATIC1111 web gui, like Prompt matrix, Attention (and better - prompt weights), X/Y plots etc.
