ConcurrentDictionary as a job queue? Better data structures?
Yes, I already do that and have OTLP integration and use a few Google Cloud products for custom metrics. But I work on an Open Source project: https://github.com/squidex/squidex There are 2 reasons for built-in metrics: 1. Provide basic metrics for my users, even if they do not use any of these solutions. 2. I need the metrics for billing and to implement API call limits. Therefore there are different aggregations. Some metrics are aggregated by month, other by day. To check whether a limit has been reached I only need one request on a primary key.
