  • Downloading Podcasts through RSS feeds
    3 projects | /r/DataHoarder | 20 Feb 2022
I'm a novice when it comes to these kinds of things so bare with me. I've tried a few ways to download podcasts using Stitchers' Unofficial RSS feeds output. I can look through the file it gives and manually pull each episode which worked for a smaller show, but now I want to try to backup a much more numerous podcast (How did this get made). I've tried to use browsers RSS feed apps that say they can download episodes, I tried using qbittorrent for rss feeds, and I've tried using podcast-dll and PodcastBulkDownloader to no avail. I'm reasonably sure the issue is me and not all of these different methods. I've been able to use youtube-dll, but I'm heavily reliant on copy pasting commands found online and don't fully understand how to write them myself.

Is there any chance something like the Unofficial RSS Stitcher Feeds tool could be developed for subscribing to Spotify-only podcast feeds through our own apps?
