spl-token-wallet VS metaplex

The Sollet repo does use Travis, and it did have a PR on Sep 4, from GitHub user 2501babe, who calls themselves an "idiot moron" (that tells you about the contributor quality to Sollet), and who does write like an idiot.

I'll transfer SolRazr from Phantom Wallet to sollet.io. Have added SolRazr to sollet.io. When trying to send SolRazr from Phantom wallet with the address I got from my sollet.io - I get the message that's it's an invalid SOL address. The address starts with 5XhyF5bPL ending with Lxmtgw

Hi thanks, I tried sollet.io now, but it's the same. You have to add the custom token by hand by adding the mint address. It also can't display the Token logo...

You aren't alone... I had 302 pieces lifted out of a sollet.io wallet.... had bot it all ovet the summer under $40....

How is Agora effecting this? I did create a wallet in sollet.io some time ago. My transaction is failing when I attempt to add ERC20 Tokens in sollet.io wallet. I do have enough SOL in sollet.io and enough ETH in my private wallet. Are there any issues transferring?

created my Solana Wallet with sollet.io and just deposited a test transaction there. My (at least for me) big chunk of Solana I bought at 26.3€ left of binance I felt kind of uncomfortable. And as I heard that sollet.io is not the stuff to go, I created a wallet with Phantom.

If you're stuck on a centralized exchange look into the phantom wallet (I know there's more, but I haven't bothered beyond sollet.io)

The use of the candy machine smart contract is very low cost though; it just takes some on-chain rent for data storage until the end of the mint, and you'll probably want to pay arweave storage fees in SOL, so that the NFTs themselves have adequate longevity. But when it comes down to the minting website, it's open source software that's free to use. Look for the candy-machine-ui in Metaplex's offering. If you have JavaScript experience, it's pretty straightforward to integrate into your project website.

To upload the pngs to Solana we are going to use Metaplex, the protocol that is defining the NFT standard for the network. Go to Github and clone https://github.com/metaplex-foundation/metaplex

You can deploy smart contracts if you want, but it is highly recommended to use Metaplex (Docs here) since they already deployed the infrastructure and is currently the popular NFT standard.
