Accessing /dev/fuse in stateless pod running in user namespace [KEP 127]
This limitation means that I can't access /dev/fuse using a hostPath volume. Is the only way to mount /dev/fuse in a pod running in a userns to use a device manager similar to this one?

smarter-device-manager: Works, but seems abandoned. Breaks as soon as you have multiple nodes with the same device.

Look into NFD as it will automatically maintain labels based on hardware attributes including accelerators, CPU models, CPU instruction sets and other hardware detail.

How can Intel quick sync be exposed to a pod?
When deploying without the helm chart, you need to define that in the ConfigMap. Looks like it’s here: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/node-feature-discovery/blob/master/nfd-daemonset-combined.yaml.template#L137-L229
