sm64plus VS Render96ex

Get the launcher from here then when you boot it up for the first time, it'll show the instructions to build the game. Once you follow that (directions for Fedora should work, barring any repositories conflict) the game should build. If the last line of the terminal says something about an error, look around for something that repeats to see if you're missing a library or package.

The super mario 64 pc port and zelda ocarina of time ship of harkinian are amazing ports that add so many QoL enhancements

Install WSL and follow the Linux instructions.

Also I would definitely recommend Render96ex, "HD" textures, 60fps, and free-moving camera. I tried a few different forks this was the only one I found with all three.
