Local Dev Environment in 2022
Laravel has a built in server which leverages local PHP. I use that combined with https://dbngin.com/ for MySQL + Redis. Then frontend is ran with local node (via https://volta.sh/, also very quick)

For something similar that also supports MySQL and Redis, DBngin (https://dbngin.com/) is pretty great, from the team that built TablePlus.
On a Mac, I like using DBngin until I need something fancier...
