For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Matter 1.2 Arrives with Nine New Device Types and Improvements Across the Board
Unfortunately the options for HKSV doorbells is fairly limited. The Logitech circle view Doorbell looks like the best candidate but it has a spotty review history, with the biggest complaint being it breaking in direct sunlight.
I’m about to buy some cameras and I’m thinking of just buying Nest and using https://scrypted.app to bridge to HKSV.
- Scrypted as home assistant addon. How to get it to work?

Scrypted install issue
Hello guys, i've been trying to install scripted on docker using portainer, I used the documentation docker compose file here, and it install without any error, but whenever I try to go to HTTP://vm_ip:10443 it gives me an empty page saying < 404 page not found >

Stuck on “Connecting” for Breathing monitoring
Yep, using Nanit stream proxy, with Scrypted to pull the stream and advertise it to Homekit.

Doorbell Replacement
Similar to thisI believe.
That’s is correct, but I don’t think Eufy is compatible with Scrypted https://github.com/koush/scrypted/wiki/Do-It-Yourself-Doorbell

DoorBird and Homekit just got SO MUCH better with Scrypted
But low and behold, since about a month, there is a native doorbird plugin for Scrypted (available in the plugins) and what can I say, it's working flawlessly so far. HKSV, face recognition, doorbell chime, fast video and you can talk! It's awesome :D

2/16/24 Wyze Security Incident Update
I finally gave up trying to use the mini hacks to make RTSP work reliably. I ended up using Wyze Bridge [0] instead, and it has been far more stable. Using Frigate for the web UI. It doesn't make for a local-only solution, but I don't use my cameras to record anything that would bother me if other people saw it.
- Wyze
- How to setup & selfhost cameras so they are blocked network access (Wyze cameras specifically) and using something Like Frigate?

Are there good open source CCTV mobile apps? I want to replace my Wyze cameras with a self-hosted alternative, but I still want to have a good way to access it from my phone
No worries, I used Wyze Bridge, there’s no need to flash a firmware it just works with any stock Wyze firmware.

Reddit AMA - 5/9/2023
There have been several community developed projects for the wyze cams like WyzeHacks, wz_mini_hacks, and docker-wyze-bridge, however, it seems as though each project is slowly getting killed off with every new product and firmware release.
WYZE decided against RTSP implementation after the experimental Betas. However, you can get RTSP plus a myriad other features on v2 and v3 via docker-wyze-bridge or wz_mini_hacks. If your firmware version is beyond the version required, you can downgrade it by flashing an older version -- Firmware Downgrade Instructions

Record whole days worth of video to cloud?
Depending on which cam model(s), you can achieve it with docker-wyze-bridge or wz_mini_hacks

Looking for an alternative
Another diy option is frigate. Although it won’t work with the v3 pro because the pro doesn’t support rtsp. Actually I just checked and docker-wyze-bridge does support the pro so you could run that along with frigate to manage your wyze cams.
What are some alternatives?
homebridge - HomeKit support for the impatient.
frigate - NVR with realtime local object detection for IP cameras
homebridge-camera-ffmpeg - Homebridge Plugin Providing FFmpeg-based Camera Support
homebridge-camera-ui - Homebridge plugin for RTSP Cameras with HSV, motion detection support, Image Rekognition, Web UI to manage/watch streams and WebApp support
Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks
docker-homebridge - Homebridge Docker. HomeKit support for the impatient using Docker on x86_64, Raspberry Pi (armhf) and ARM64. Includes ffmpeg + libfdk-aac.
camera.ui - NVR like user Interface for RTSP capable cameras
homebridge-unifi-protect - :video_camera: Complete HomeKit integration for all UniFi Protect device types with full support for most features including HomeKit Secure Video, and more. https://homebridge.io
ring-mqtt-ha-addon - Home Assistant addon to integrate Ring alarm and camera devices via MQTT
homebridge-wyze-connected-home - Wyze Connected Home plugin for Homebridge
