Not yet. Someone (ex-Marlowe engineer from IO) is working on Scalus (https://github.com/nau/Scalus) as a possible Scala eDSL for Plutus.

I hate Haskell a lot. I'm really optimistic for projects like Helios.

What are the most exciting initiatives going on right now to improve the Cardano developer experience?
One of the most exciting projects imo is Helios. If Cardano is to compete with other smart blockchains, we must move away from Haskell. I consider Plutus (Tx) being Haskell-based to be a serious design flaw of Cardano's developer experience. Plutus itself is inefficient and poorly thought out. Plutarch is much more well designed, even though it's still Haskell based.
