sakai-vue VS nanostores

Sakai is a free and open source admin template by PrimeVue based on Vite and Vue 3. We've recently ported it to Nuxt 3 as well due to community request. More combinations like typescript version are also planned in the future.

With the latest version, all available open source themes of PrimeVue has been made available to Sakai so you can switch between Material, Bootstrap, Tailwind, PrimeOne and more themes dynamically. In total, there are 34 built-in free themes.

Greetings from PrimeVue team. You may also check out Sakai, it is a free admin template. Upcoming versions will bring a horizontal menu though, right now menu is vertical. Another free option is the menubar component for NavBar. Paid alternatives are PrimeBlocks that has tons of navbars, layouts and more like this one. You may also consider a paid template like Atlantis as well. So in summary, there are a couple of ways to do it with PrimeVue, some are free and some are paid. Hope it helps.

When I cloned the project (https://github.com/primefaces/sakai-vue) and ran it locally (npm run serve) I'm getting an error within the Vue DevTools Extension.

In its docs, Astro recommends nanostores, but I’ve used effector in the past. And LOVED IT. So I’ve used it for this project as well.

Astro handles multi-framework components (React, Vue, etc) and they recommend using the nanostores library for shared state.

Checkout Nanostore it's what Astro.build recommends for sharing state across different ui libraries.

All of these are valid ways of fixing the state management issue, but it's clear that we need to find a common solution that works for all the UI libraries. This is where nanostores comes into play! The description they provide on their GitHub page is simply perfect:

Jotai and Valtio are both also really good. Recently looked at Nanostore as well and has some similarity to Jotai and Recoil.

Just to chime in on framework agnostic stores, Astro.build recommends using Nano Stores to handle reactivity, as the base library is very small and they have adapters for most relevant frameworks. I definitely agree that avoiding framework lock-in is the smart thing to do.
