If i were to write this in a faster language, it would be in Rust, since I already have a relativly successful CLI text edit tool written in it, and it's fast as fuck too.

Hey there! You might want to check out the vim-qf plugin (https://github.com/romainl/vim-qf). It's got some nifty features for managing quickfix lists, like toggling between them and persisting them across sessions. Give it a try and see if it suits your needs! Happy Neovimming!

vim-qf. I do a lot of quick/loc list stuff that’s just not possible without this plugin, like easily removing entries, saving and loading lists. Cfilter has come along since then and it’s builtin, but is doesn’t have everything I need.

vim-qf

I use :grep with https://github.com/romainl/vim-qf and https://github.com/stefandtw/quickfix-reflector.vim. This is overkill if you simply need to rename a symbol, but it really shines when you need to do any kind of filtering or refactoring.

/u/romainl created the very handy vim-qf, which among its other features, allows you to remove a line, range of lines, or lines matching a pattern using :Reject in the quickfix window.
