Streaming a video to a site without any branding on the video or user controls in the player
I have a question if you have time. I came across this, RX Player, it mentions live, do you know if it would work? No worries if finding out is too deep of a dive though. I’m not exactly sure what it is, maybe it’s like shaka player? https://github.com/canalplus/rx-player

live sports streaming sites and how the data flows
Actually some do. There is software called P2P Media Loader that can be embedded in a website. It is used by the pirate site known as viprow/vipbox/vipleague and probably others.
