Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The Most Popular Open Source IoT Operating System from China
It would be great to better understand how this compares to RTOS and FreeRtos.
E.g., if one wanted to build a baremetal version of a small programming language, like minilisp or Forth, what would one like to use ?
I would like to understand where the various implementations of rtos have been used in a production settings, is this one stable enough to use ?
This rtos seems pretty small, but documentation seems mostly in Chinese, e.g.
https://github.com/RT-Thread/rt-thread/tree/cca2f40ae05a6eff...
Some code seems from older code bases:

(C) 2001-2004 Swedish Institute of Computer Science.
It's hard for a person new to embedded RTOSes to judge the stability or capabilities of a project like this.
Overall, its great to see projects like this sprouting up!
There's a bunch of documentation (in english) at https://github.com/RT-Thread/rt-thread/blob/master/documenta...
One thing that stands out is that one of the selling points would be the inclusion of middleware etc.

(HELP ) i would like to make a OS written in c (x86)
I don't have filesystems but I do have quite a "meaty skeleton" which you can refer to if you need help which you can find under this link: https://github.com/V01D-NULL/ValidityOS
What are some alternatives?
tinyusb - An open source cross-platform USB stack for embedded system
qpc - QP/C Real-Time Embedded Framework/RTOS for embedded systems based on active objects (actors) and hierarchical state machines
libopencm3 - Open source ARM Cortex-M microcontroller library
lvgl - Embedded graphics library to create beautiful UIs for any MCU, MPU and display type.
bouffalo_sdk - BouffaloSDK is the IOT and MCU software development kit provided by the Bouffalo Lab Team, supports all the series of Bouffalo chips. Also it is the combination of bl_mcu_sdk and bl_iot_sdk
QuarkTS - An open-source OS for embedded applications that supports prioritized cooperative scheduling, time control, inter-task communications primitives, hierarchical state machines and CoRoutines.
totalcross - TotalCross is a Software Development Kit that helps cross platform application development. Currently supported platforms are: Windows, Wince, Android, iOS, Linux and Linux ARM for embedded systems.
compiler-builtins - Porting `compiler-rt` intrinsics to Rust
AhnTri - Super-simple OS
RISC-V-Computer - An enhanced yet simplified version of the original RISC-V-Computer build with Logisim [Moved to: https://github.com/MazinCE/RVCOM2.0]
chat-censorship - Data related to the investigation of realtime censorship
cbindgen - A project for generating C bindings from Rust code
