Muun recovery VS lnbook

Has anybody tested self sovereign recovery with Muun? https://github.com/muun/recovery I am going to attempt it soon, but just wondering how easy and smooth the process is.

You can download the desktop recovery app. Using your recovery pdf and your recovery code, you can send your holding to a new Bitcoin address. https://github.com/muun/recovery

you can't directly import Muun wallet to Electrum, but you can use Muun Recovery tool https://github.com/muun/recovery and send your bitcoin to your new address in Electrum.

They have a FOSS recovery utility that lets you grab the money from those multisig addresses in case you "lost" your phone/app. It scans the chain using the public Electrum servers and builds a transaction from those addresses to whatever address you provide. So instead of the unspent amount you get the entire amount. It's not possible to find those on-chain addresses in the app so the whole scheme is quite obscure. And since this issue is fundamental because the approach they chose it can't be fixed. Either you can't recover your money at all (and it contradicts their security model) or you recover more than you should (and it's not your fault of course).

p.s.: if you're unfamiliar with these terms, I suggest you read the How the Lightning Network works chapter of Mastering The Lightning Network by Andreas Antonopoulos. It's not too technical and if you have a basic understanding of Bitcoin, you won't have any trouble reading it.

I recommend you to read Mastering the Lightning Network, especially this chapter, which explains the basics of how the LN works.
