Vite. Point of CRA is to have everything set up fast, but at cost of configuration options. Sure, there's some stuff to get configuration changed, but ultimately, if we talk only about pure CRA, your only option to make some changes is to eject. And ejecting leaves you without CRA, but with huge barely maintainable configuration. At least, that was case few years ago. CRA was never meant to be the best tool for the job, but it was first (or among first). Please, read this discussion about reasoning behind CRA creation, it's limitations and reasoning behind limitations.
