react-native-maps VS react-native-gesture-handler

react-native-maps is the best option for handling location and maps in react native. you can use openstreet, google maps, apple maps, or any other tile overlay. also, it provides some good examples in its repository which covers most of the use cases.

So it sounds like you are getting coordinates from GeoJSON, and then you want to display them on a map in your app? If I have that correct then you should check out https://github.com/react-native-maps/react-native-maps.

I would imagine you could do this with react-native-maps. You can even overlay a component on top, which would probably be how you put a semi-transparent circle over it

React Native Gesture Handler

the solution is react-native-reanimated. reanimated helps us to create smooth and performant animations with minimal setup, with a lot of helpers, and is relatively easy to use. another useful library for handling gesture animations is react-native-gesture-handler which is defined as:

For swiping in mode screens I use Reanimated with React Native Gesture Handler. In sound shop swipe is implemented through a simple ScrollView which is built into RecyclerListView. I didn't quite understand the second part of the question tho
