So, Noting is built with ReactJS, Tailwind and uses @uiw/react-md_edit as the Markdown editor. It also has local storage. And has dark mode, because Tailwind really makes that easy

I would suggest looking at HyperMD (https://github.com/laobubu/HyperMD), because it is a good "kitchen sink" example of what can be done with CodeMirror. Unfortunately the author's site is down right now, which means the demos and examples are not available.

HyperMD[0] is probably the craziest (in a good way) thing I've seen done with CodeMirror.
