Blockchatting: A Peer-to-Peer Messaging dApp

For UI/UX purposes, we also map each address to some randomly generated nickname and avatar, making things a lot more readable! A similar approach is used in Status messenger. I have also used MantineUI as my component library, which I highly recommend.
Tailwind Is a Leaky Abstraction
5 projects | news.ycombinator.com | 29 Nov 2022
I use Mantine which uses Emotion for styling. I like keeping the CSS properties in a neat JSON object instead of a long string like Tailwind does. With the object approach, conditional styling is easier too. With Tailwind, you have to use cx or another package to do this and it makes the code a little hard to read.
Emotion isn't without it's flaws though. The company that created Emotion doesn't use it anymore because of runtime overhead so Tailwind may be the future after all.
Is there a dedicated ui library dedicated for server component?
3 projects | reddit.com/r/nextjs | 23 Nov 2022
I tried Nextjs 13 today, with the new app directory that uses server component by default. I tried using mantine.dev in this project (which uses emotion/core). This will throw an error of ou're importing a component that needs flushSync. It only works in a Client Component. I wonder if the problem lies with emotion/core's SSR strategy or if it's just we should use only style libraries like tailwind for server components.
The old dilemma: Material UI or Bootstrap?

I tried mantine.dev and I wouldn't go back. This library has it all.
nize.pics – create beautiful images of code and screenshots

Thanks! It's built with React (Next.js) and Mantine for the UI components. I'm not sure what you mean with edit systems, but the layers are using react-draggable. The syntax highlighting is powered by shiki and a bunch of exported VS Code themes. The state is handled by zustand, with the undo-redo functionality built on top of it. The code formatting is done with prettier and the image export uses html-to-image.

Introducing Mantine DataTable

But, on the other hand, there's something else I've learned over the years: we shouldn't complain and be too harsh and judgmental with open-source projects' authors :-) In the end, they're (mostly) kind and generous people dedicating their own time to build those projects, and they don't have a duty to implement the features that you or I need so badly :-) Mantine's community is awesome, and I was sincerely baffled when I discovered the sheer amount of effort spent on the project by Vitaly Rtishchev (rtivital). And it's really quality code. The man has my utmost respect.
