Any easy and inexpensive way of "uprgading" W10 Home to Pro on one of the used Optiplex machines?
I tried rdpwrap on that machine and it usually works for a while, but Microsoft started to aggressively restrict it with every update lately, so I would have to physically go to that one machine and do something I need. Of course, I then added it to my Chrome Remote list, I can install vnc, TeamViewer or something similar, but these are all basically half-solutions.

Sunshine + Moonlight works on Sway for remote desktop and game streaming
The Aster software is really interesing! I am kinda looking for a simultanous workstation use. I used to use [this](https://github.com/stascorp/rdpwrap) hack that allows simultaneus RDP sessions. Not ideal for gaming but for work stuff is good. Might try this out when I build a workstation for work so my team can remote connect and work on their own windows accounts on the workstation, at the same time. But RDP sucks, Sunshine would outperform this. But its better because i dont need to have multiple Sunshine instances running per account (i think thats what would be needed for seperated simultaneous users).

Retrieve original Windows key from MSI laptop
If you want to try an unsupported hack this GitHub has a wrapper for RDP https://github.com/stascorp/rdpwrap many have had success. I prefer VNC and have not tried the wrapper.

How to get audio working through VNC when connecting to a Windows 10 VM?
I've tried enabling it using the RDP Wrapper executables but that project isn't maintained, so I tried thefollow up updater and it worked, but the idea of running a random .exe as admin seemed really sketchy to me so I'm not going to keep it.

Exploring Windows XP on macOS ARM64
Researching a little showed that this is basically what can be expected running x86 emulation and the systems will just be wonky and slow, although it was running flawlessly, just slow.
There seem to be ways to use Rosetta2 inside a VM [0] to then translate binaries but I found no official support or documentation (using UTM+QEMU that was), this would be such a cool feature, at least there are discussions about it [1,2]

UTM for Developers
UTM makes it easy to set up and manage macOS and Windows virtual machines. This can be especially useful for developers such as Tauri contributors who need to test their applications across multiple platforms, or for those looking to experiment with different operating systems without affecting their primary system.
